Decorative grilles for trench convectors
Functionality
The decorative grille performs more functions than it might seem at first glance.
First, the grid prevents deformation of the convector body. Due to the fact that the floor screed presses on the device from all sides, the case may slightly change its shape. This then causes the grille to not fit neatly into place. To prevent this from happening, a mounting bar or a packed grid is used. After cleaning, the bar can be replaced with a grid or unpack the existing one.
Secondly, the grid protects you and the convector from each other. Despite the fact that it is impossible to get burns from the heat exchanger (the surface heats up to a maximum of 40°C), and the fan is protected by a special shield, there is still a chance of injury. Especially if you have children or pets. To prevent this from happening, the grid prevents fingers or paws from being pushed into the convector mechanism. If desired, the grill can be fixed for even greater safety.
In addition, the decorative grill protects the convector itself from mechanical damage and debris, which can cause the convector to fail or significantly impair its performance.

Materials and color scheme
Materials: aluminum and oak.
Color solutions: satin and any color according to RAL for the metal grid; the tree can be painted in any color according to the ILSE catalog.
Transverse aluminum grill
Aluminum grills are recommended to be installed in places with a lot of traffic, because such a grill can withstand weight loads, protecting the convector from mechanical damage.
In the transverse grid, the lamellas are located across the convector body, with the possibility of folding. Such a lattice is also called a roll.
The grid can be painted in any RAL color.
Longitudinal aluminum grill
In the longitudinal aluminum grid, the lamellas are located along the convector body, respectively, without being able to collapse.
The grid can be painted in any RAL color.
Rolled wooden grill
Wooden grates are made of hard wood species, namely oak. They have a transverse arrangement of lamellas and a natural color.
In the manufacture of wooden gratings, a 15 mm thick profile is used, which is strong enough to withstand the load on the grating. Transverse slats made of wood are connected by a tension spring and separated by aluminum rollers.
The grid can be painted in any color according to the ILSE palette.
